Bedford Autodrome on the GT circuit in November last year:
Chasing my friend Carl in his Elise S1 Sport160 when a surprisingly quick (in a straight line) Rover 75 intervened:

Bit more Sport 160 chasing (shortly before it split a CV gaiter and sprayed grease on the exhaust and burst into flames...!) :

Chasing my friend Gavin is his 2004 1.8 SS Roadsport (Microphone packed up hence the music):

First two rounds of the 2015 Mag 7s series.

Anyone who's interested in Caterham racing should consider this series. It's great fun, has generally very good driving standards and the 40 minute races are designed to be shared between two drivers to keep costs down.

The kind of video we don't want to see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Nmt_16-Zdk
Maybe not but its a good advert for the roll over protection.A little clip of me having a bit of fun, at the club handling dat at Dunsfold https://youtu.be/lYrAVmd6_pU
after the pressure plate exploded on my old Honda Crx race car on a trackday at Croft Ross kindly allowed me one of his sessions in his C400 sequential race car, been a year since I drove a Caterham and I felt as rusty as an old gate but thoroughly enjoyed being back in rear wheel drive and would repeat my thoughts that 220bhp is more than enough power for a trackday car.

I do like that car It does seem to punch above it's weight. Missed it at KH last month, but hopefully it'll be back up sometime
Its Not quick in a straight line David but its good in the corners, first time in a Caterham with Widetrack and its got the best front end for turn in that I have driven, first few laps It caught me out at the hair pin as it just goes in,I said to Ross it almost feels un balanced it has that much bite , I likened it to a Kart running maximum Caster in the dry, I wasnt trying for a lap as was just getting a feel of it and didn't want to push to hard but it put in some reasonably quick times without really trying, I think a day in that car with a seat that fits me and could get a quick good lap from it , oh I certainly wasnt getting the best from the box wasnt sure if I was supposed to clutch or not lol Ross is certainly starting to make it move though the more laps he does in it .

Nice.I'd snip the first segment off that video if it where mine... although I "assume" you where picking up a friend from their house so didn't give away your address and security layout ;-)
Had my R400 D for about 6 weeks now. Got her out on track and had a blast!
Pedal box isnt quite right for me yet, under heavy braking the throttle is higher than the brake by a fair bit. Which is making it bloody awkward to heel & toe with my long legs. Thats something which will be sorted this weekend.
I was using CR500's on 15" rims which came with the car. Will be changing to 13" at some point soon.
Took it steady as it was my first time on track with the R400D (not my first track day though).
Plenty of stuff to be worked on I'm sure, but thats the fun of it.
Had issues with the camera mounting staying upright... sorry!
