Nice way to spend a Sunday mixing it with the Time Attack guys. I'd written off the afternoon because of the poor forecast so just let rip with the mission to destroy some old tyres. But mechanical sympathy did allow for a few cooling laps.

Almost got caught out on the first session at Castle Combe where the warming down lap after the checkered flag is more like a carry on balls out till the pit lane lap.

Aye, bit stupid.

Thank goodness for run-off areas eh! I wish Vale at Silverstone had a bigger Tarmac run off else I'd have saved the embarrassment of beaching my car for 20 minutes.

Recent Silverstone session from Nov 22nd where the temps started at -1 and rose to 2 degrees. I beached it in the gravel at Vale during the very first session so I decided to roll off early and coast into the corners as I wasn't getting any feel from the front tyres. This maybe due to an issue with the slicks, or that they just weren't working in these temperatures. Still managed a 2:26 lap without trying. Near the end you can see I get black flagged for noise again.

I can't wait for summer to get a proper full day in with this car.
