There has been progress. The car starts and runs now, though I haven't driven it anywhere as I'm still waiting for the air box/filter/duct arrangement to be finished next week. Once this is done I hope to get on a track day somewhere to start bedding it in and dialling in the suspension a bit, plus scaring myself silly, hopefully.
The replacement carbon fibre bits have been matt satin wrapped in an attempt to leave as much of the CF showing as possible. The bonnet has been sun damaged whilst stored so we're going to try re-lacquering it, and if this doesn't work I may paint the whole car in such a way to leave some of it showing.

If you want to source a carbon bonnet you could talk to Glyn at Ultimate Carbon - he's made some.
Thanks Steve. I have a tame carbon fibre man who will attempt to match a new bonnet to the twirl of the existing. The new lacquer is the easiest option to try first though.Gassing Station | Caterham | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
