Hello, I've ordered a Supersport 140

Really? Well, we were told at the midlands site that is was about 150kg heavier, which we found hard to believe. The chap we were with went of to check, came back and said 105. That still seemed a lot but I didn't know any better. 25 sounds more like it. An R378 then?!

Did similar myself when I picked mine up .... I'd recommend heading north to join the A50 near Donnington, then take the A515 (great road) up through Ashbourne to Buxton, over the Cat and Fiddle (granted its not what it used to be!) to Macclesfield and then I'd route via Alderley Edge and Wilmslow to take in the airport tunnels - at least once, maybe twice

The R400 comes with 15" wheels as standard, 13" being a £240 option.

Anyone know which is better and why? Why should the smaller rim be more expensive?

I've gone from 15's to 13's. Better ride quality and more predictable handling. I can think of no reason to choose the 15's.

I've never really understood why the small wheels are an option or why they're more expensive to be honest!

Well, paid the deposit today so now need to settle final spec then forget about it until next January..........

Thank you! There's a chance of an earlier build slot which may have be building before Xmas. Still need to decide on colour. I want something bright and noticeable ( for road going safety reasons), but not metallic or too lary.

Edging towards Porsche Riviera Blue but not sure.

A mate reckons I should have ordered mine in the 620R demo. colour scheme. I have to say it does look great but happy with my choice.

Is it an R400 that you've ordered?

Yes R400 SV with lowered floors, 13" wheels. I could fit ok in an S3 but my son was a but squeezed and sitting to high for his comfort.

What colour is the demo 620?

Great news, have fun, well look forward to your pics.....

I've been given a November build slot, and an aim to get the kit to me by Xmas. I'm away to warmer climes for February but can hopefully make a start during January and get it sorted for May or so.

Still wondering about little things like uprated master cylinder, aero filler cap etc. Any opinions?
