I have CR500s on 175/55 R13s all round. Combined with the LSD, it is very easy and predictable. However it does want to slide - turn in too fast and I get understeer but easily dialled out with some gas. Adjustable ARB at the back and I have a medium front ARB. It is definitely well worth having the car corner weighted too - I had mine done when I bought it and again by the Caterham factory last summer.
HMm maybe its just my driving style but on road getting it to slide is a feat unless I approach slow a turn in 2nd, slam accelerator in then flick in left then hard right. On track its really hard to get it to slide although could be my granny-esque sliding style. My car was setup by a race place (I take no credit) so not sure if that makes a diff.Andy Bell said:

Having followed Andy round the track, I can vouch that there's not much wrong with his set-up, very professionally done IMHO. I think we're discussing preferences in the way they are set-up. Andy has a well balanced car with a 'race' set-up, by the sounds of it, you prefer something with a bit more movement.

Apologies both, I read the original comment as it being an issue that you had too much grip. Sounds like your car is set up exactly as you want, which is the joy with these things. I on the other hand like mine looser and love feeling it move around beneath me. We are obviously both very happy with our cars - though I am no doubt a lot sloweranniesdad said:

No- I bought a new car in 2007; it was appallingly uncomfortable . I had the lowered floor fitted later;
Get it now. Didn't realise you could have the lowered floor retrofitted. My car is coming with race seats so I think we'll be ok. I will though try a lowered floor before discounting it completely as an option. Update - had documentation from Caterham that my car will be available in...August.
In other news I met up with V7SLR and the other LADS members last night at their monthly meet. Great bunch of chaps and very knowledgeable about all things 7. Much food for thought with regards to my spec. and also I had a very kind offer from 2 of the members to build my car up for me for the princely sum of bacon butties, tea and biscuits...
Not had chance to visit Caterham Midlands yet as my knee's playing up, hoping to get there next week.

Well here she is all built up and awaiting delivery to Caterham Midlands. Hope you like her. A big thanks go to Adam West at the factory for taking time to take these pictures and to send them to me. Not building it myself has detached me from that process, so many of you have enjoyed, but these (and other) images sent by the factory have somewhat compensated for that.
I'm really looking forward to taking delivery in the next few weeks after the IVA and registration.

I bet you can't wait now!
Just to add to the comments at the top of this page about how loose the back end of the car is, I've had time to get used to my small 13x6 wheels all round, and the car still sticks like glue.
To get the back and to step out, I need to be on a sharp bend and boot the throttle in 2nd gear. It doesn't step out violently and need quick correction but instead slides gracefully around. Great feeling!
