Yes I drove it, although it was dark. It's perfect in every way, and I have change in my pocket smile

I like this game. So, you test drove a 7 in the dark. That to me suggests it's either a private sale or an accommodating dealer that would stay open for you. Miss Scarlet in the Greenhouse with a cucumber. No wait..

I think thats a great buy. Enjoy! Weird thing was that it never came up in the Caterham section on the classified's unless you clicked the link posted on this thread.

Viewing all these threads about new Caterham purchases is really getting me twitching!! I keep delaying my purchase hoping I can move into a house with a garage. Thats unlikely to happen until the end of 2015! Positive side to that is at least I can save up for a new Supersport!

Correct, there was something weird about the ad which meant it wasn't appearing so I probably wouldn't have seen it, hence a big thanks to Mr ghibbett!!

I think a great buy is to put it mildly. When I think about how close I was to buying the old, slightly tatty, roadsport 140 from CC which had zero history for nearly £3k more, I would have felt comprehensively ripped off. Probably the best decision of my life. This silver one is practically 2 years old and doesn't look a day older. It has 13" superlights wrapped in sticky Yoko A048R rubber. It has more pornographic carbon and Q/R steering wheel. It also has an overflowing folder of history. And the owner was a top bloke and a real pleasure to deal with. Ok, it doesn't have a 6 speed box or 3 month warranty (but seriously how much is this really worth??), but it's safe to say the 300 mile round trip straight from work and getting home after 1:30am was totally worth it!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh and breath..... I just couldn't hold that in any longer! smile

Thanks, I'm over the moon!beer

I just wanted to make a quick mention about Sevens&Classics too, just in case others are in the market from a dealer; I really thought their customer service was top notch. I was disappointed that the car I was going to buy wasn't from them. Callum is a really good lad, great to get on with and really made me feel at ease throughout my time with him. All 3 of them there are a great bunch.

Great news, I'm sure it's the right one, a very good starter car with enough change to cover some trackdays and a bit of tuition smile

Cheers! Regarding tuition, I've read on Blatchat that they do free tuition, first come first serve, on certain track days - is this worth getting involved with?
