After many hours of research and deliberation I decided not to upgrade my super sprint as it would cost far too much.

Just wondering what people think is good to go from 95bhp super sprint to?

Got about 15 -17k to play with and would love an R300 but can't find one in the budget.

I would like to take it round the track a few times a year but it still be able to be used as a commuting car.

I found a Sigma 140 for a smidge over your budget.

I bet you could find some very nice K-Series Supersports for that price? I bet 140-160bhp would feel like a pretty big upgrade!

That is what I was thinking around 140-160bhp and either a K series or Sigma. Though wouldn't mind a few tests to just get a feel for them.

Have a look at the green Superlight 1800 160 bhp at Millwoods - it in the classified. I had the same dilemma and very nearly bought it. Its up at £16,995

Hi Mark - I didn't buy Jon's car, but the 205 bhp one I shared the details of with you. The green Superlight is still for sale as far as I know.

Thanks for all your help - very useful indeed

Why did you change your mind from the one at Millwoods?

I didn't - it looks a beautiful car.

I saw a car last Thursday with quite a lot more engine development than the Millwood car,and a bit less money, though the condition on Jon's car looks better.

The green car is probably a more sensible choice, but the one I saw last week just drove so well.

I found Jon very helpful to deal with, probably worth giving him a call, if nothing else.
