So heading to Bedford tomorrow for my first track day in my Caterham. Cant wait! Have had the car serviced with new Mintex pads, a new timing belt replaced fluids. She's ready to go!

Fantastic, have fun. Picked my own car up a couple of days ago and hoping to get my first track day in in a few weeks time. smile

Great day on the track today. The track was wet for the first 2 to 3 hours and it was hard work getting the car to stay straight. It was sliding all over the place and I really had to concentrate on keeping the car composed. I think it worked out nicely because I learnt a lot about the car during those few hours which helped me when the track dried out. It was great fun. Learnt so much about the car and feel more confident with it now.

Only downside is that one of the spring clips to secure the bonnet broke. Anyone suggest a place I can buy a replacement via mail order?

Either Caterham via mail or Redline Components.

These days Caterham carry fewer parts in stock. If an item lists as "Out of stock" then you'd be advised to give them a ring. You should have more joy.

Obviously this is a common part used across the range and being used daily in production.
