stick 17ACR RH on the end of your Lucas reference and you can find them on well known auction sites.

Why not go to a rotating electrics workshop and get yours fixed?

Iv looked around...

all the parts places I can find just want to sell or swap the part.
The only place I know of that might.. is on holiday shut-down for another 2-3 weeks.

I have found via ebay descriptions
Triumph Spitfire 1500 Years 1974-1981 / Dolmite 1300,1500 Years 1973-1981
so that might be enough.. but they might not know what a Triumph is..!!!

It is a very standard Lucas alternator fitted to thousands of different cars, tractors etc over the years. They are available very cheaply and identical to the one fitted to ax flow caterham to.

The Valero alternative is slightly smaller though. Search BC for lots of info.
