Just got back from my first night time blat in the new car, wonderful!

Having not had a Caterham for a good few years I'd genuinely forgotten how engaging and fun they are, I'm glad to be back in the fold!

Night time driving with a Caterham in the warm summer is wonderful. Less cars and the darkness adds something to the drive. And the lights aren't THAT bad. smile

I used to do it when I had my SLR. The pops and blue flashes on the left hand side when on the overrun were very satisfying smile

I lost a wheel arch in our Caterham doing something similar! Pesky wildlife!

Been considering a night blat recently but have also wondered about the wisdom of combining poor visibility, relative exposure and nocturnal wildlife...

[Un]fortunately logistics have prevented the opportunity so far.

Visibility? You mean seeing or being seen?
The former just requires decent headlights, the latter is better than during the day as you'll be a pair of headlights instead of a small, low car.
Exposure......to what? confused
Wildlife......could be said there's just as much around during daylight, along with pedestrians, cyclists and HGVs.

Man up.

I have to say, I was much less nervous about wildlife etc after I fitted mine with a rollcage.
