New Supersport R - must have options.

Thanks for all your responses guys, its made interesting reading.
The options I am going for are:
Lowered Floor
QR steering wheel
Leather Seats - unfortunately the GT Style Leather seats are being discontinued.
Armourfend 3M treatment - will look into incorporating this during build. Thanks to those that suggested it.
Undecided:
FIA Roll bar - it appears only L7 owners club insist on this for some reason at Trackdays so cant see the benefit of installing this when there are plenty of other options for track days. Am I missing something?
Heater - still Not convinced this is a must have? How effective is it over and above normal heat dissipation from engine/exhaust?
SV - I am 5'11 and 90kg and test drove the SV with lowered floors which was fine. However I sat in the S3 and felt very snug. Am still undecided about which to choose and will therefore hire an S3 for a day before committing to the spec to see how well I can live with it.
Would also be very happy if I can be moved up the build queue to feb!!

FIa bar - it is much more sturdy and will probably hold up much better in the unlikely event of a roll, whereas the standard looks more likely to fold, I elected for the safer option and don't regret it....I suspect some buyers might feel the same down the road when you come to sell?
Heater - if you are likely to be driving to trackdays ealry mornings - even in the summer - say at 630 am, temps can be a bit chilly - heater keeps a heat source on legs and hands which is a worthwhile trade off for a few kilos. Alternative might be heated jacket plugged into 12v?
SV - Im 6ft and 90 kg - lowered floor s3 with tillets is perfect fit - lighter, more wrapped around you etc. Takes a bit of practice to ensure pockets empty before you get in mind! I think lowered floors and tillets make a big difference too - seems to drop your hips lower into car and makes it snug, so no uncomfortable pinch points

Well, all due etc. but at 90-120kg, I can understand why weight would be a problem, and as I and my SV will still be several kg lighter than you and your S3 I doubt I'll be too disappointed!
Those of us larger than midgets need all the help we can get on the weight front. But the point here is relative to what you could have had - you will be lighter in an equivalent S3.
Doesn't address the feel of the smaller car either. I think a lot of people move to these from "normal" cars and simply expect a bigger vehicle. Once you get used to the smaller car, it really does make it feel so much different to anything else. Special.

The thing is I'm sure we will use the car together on occasion, even on track, and we didn't think the S3 was at all comfortable two up. Also, he couldn't seat himself low enough in the S3. He's used to being very low in a car on track and while the Caterham will obviously be a compromise compared to what he's used to, we thought the SV was the best all rounder.
As for me, I got rid of my 911, which I just wasn't using on the road, and didn't want to use on track, so even an SV will feel quite compact after that.

Out of interest - what made you choose the Supersport R with the engine upgrade + drysump over the R400, that has these as standard + 6 speed gearbox?
