So is the old 'Tech Talk' section of the forum only visible to members now?

I wouldn't expect it to take much work to make it viewable to everyone!

Hope ithings gets sorted as it looks like the forums are lacking input.

What BC really needs is someone with the technical ability of a medical practitioner, the skills of someone adept at institutional communications yet still somehow have the time to devote much of their waking life to live on the forum and respond to most if not all threads in order to better understand the dwindling users!

Alas, I fear there cannot be such a person.....

Or is there?

Who is that Super Hero?

Rosemary the Telephone Operator? Nope?...

Thanks

A Jay Tanhonk is the fictitious character from The Usual Suspects if my memory serves me correctly, he cannot be trusted with such a task!

Very clever though he may be!

I've gone with a runner from Tennessee - Hank jay Oaten and as he once said 'how can I miss you if you won't go away?'

Alas, I fear with his devotion to running there simply won't be the level of commitment required , we are, after all talking of a time requirement unknown to the ordinary man; maybe your superhero is required.

cor, yes tight fart, what a social gaff that would be, to be a member of a club that hadn't got it's new forum software sorted out, what would your mates say. A bullet dodged there, for sure.

Still, when the new "Club of Lotus 7's" is formed, there will be no such problems. yes

I'm still a member and people point at me in the street and start laughing. Oh the shame smile

To get this thread back on topic and in an attempt to get away from all the tedious drivel & attempts at humour above:-

I think the new L7C site and forum are coming together really well, it's well presented and easy to use. Yes there are still a few quirks but I'm sure you IT chaps don't get it right first time every time.

The only improvement I can see is that a few of the more 'prolific' posters (and their cats) should be shot shoot , apart from that it's good.

I have no real thoughts on the 'pay to view' technical forum but that may be because I am a fully paid up member, however it does add value to membership.

As for the annual membership fee, it is about the same as a tank of petrol which I think is good value for money. I certainly get my monies worth as I attend and enjoy many of the clubs events.

There you go, I can be positive CBB even after consuming slightly more than a bottle of France's finest red the night before.

I don't wish to insult you, but suggest you might want to re-think the wording of your post above containing the following statements:
