Not sure what to make of this.....

I posted up a post of my new (to me) Legacy GT by accident,, when I relised it was in the wrong group I deleted it.. not thinking it was any big deal.
but honestly... a little over zelous enthusiastic on the big red button.

Im interested in Caterhams/Loti (had at least 1 for the past 14 years) even westies (had one in the past also)..
but a post of a Cat7 with a nice Fezza (n I dont like Fezza's much) bring out the big red button.!!??

I politely suggest to dial back the moderation a little, allow people to share and discuss politely, honestly and mostly on or near topic. nudge the discussions or people when it goes off on a tangent to bring it back on course, then I hope it will be a happy place to hangout.

Someone sent me a link that I have lost, but I'll tell the gist of the story anyway. It was about this US Uni professor who told his students life stories on a friday afternoon. Probably not friday nor the afternoon, but who cares.

This story was about our ability to be wronged. And take offence. And in fact an admirable human trait was the ability not to be wronged and not to take offence. This strikes home for me. I love to tell the story about the police driver who cut me up or the rude shop assistant or where the bank made a mistake (utter joy).

But wouldn't the world be a better place if the aficionados of the lotus and caterham 7 marques were thick skinned and didn't take offence?

Me and CFK not arguing over every slight matter (even if he is a tt and I am always right).

Or maybe it would just be dull.

Just a thought.
