Where to buy tyres?

Hi all,

I've been tryin to contact Caterham for ages now with little or no success in speaking to them let alone getting an order in!

So following this I was wondering if it's possible to buy the Avon CR500 tyres from anywhere else?

I bought mine directly from Avon in Melksham, picked up 2 sets from them last week (CR500s and ZZRs)

No particular reason why not, they often don't have stock though. I just happened to be on business in Melksham so it made sense to collect some while I was there.

Anyone know whether the ZZR at a 50 profile will fit under the front wheel stays where currently the CR500 at 45 only just fits?

I have called Caterham on a few occasions and in my opinion offer pretty poor service, I've left messages or been promised calls back and nothing. I just hate using companies who appear to know little about customer service.

On a brighter note, I called BTMR this morning and they couldn't be friendlier. I would send anyone there without a worry. Brilliant!

I know everyone's opinion of service is different, I run my own business and consider the service I offer to be top notch, sadly and wrongly or rightly I always expect the same from others.

I have only ever had good service from Caterham but I suspect not every one will have the same experience and with the greatest respect we are all human and you can see differing comments about most organisations........even the 'best'
