Neither are as good as paint...

a wrap.. I dunno.. might set you back 400 for a caterham..
would prob last 3-5 years depending upon usage.. AFAIK cant realy be 'fixed' other than re-doing the panel

dip, 100 DIY.. fixable, look on youtube.. sand paper n spray another coat or 3.
dont like it.. peal it straight off.

Not a Caterham i'm afraid, but it does have a Lotus engine.

I'm not much of a polisher, and it's not to much work to keep the Ali looking good, but after 12 years I had it painted.
Leave it bare until you get bored, then paint it.
