Has nobody else seen this?

I thought I was far more tactful than you...but you seem to have summed it up rather well...but isn't their carbon some of the best you've ever seen?
Really bad composites !hold a CC,S carbon part up to the light and you can see through half of them !
cheap resin infusion ! but it looks nice (well for about the 1st 9 months)
Most of the carbon on my car is 13 years old and looks as good today as the day it was new. That's why I used to make such a fuss about all the crap on the market.
The resin infusion process will make panels which are see through as there is only a single ply of carbon within I believe. (all be it a 1mm thick ply).
Normal Autoclave carbon as multiple plies which overlap top block the gaps between the weave. I used to use 2x200g plus a layer of kevlar on the back to stop stone ships.
That said the UC stuff I saw was dull due to the use of badd tooling, and the layup of the weave was rushed asd the weave was far from uniform and straight.
