I had a track day today (yes, in the sleet/snow/hail) and for the first time I've used the windscreen and wipers. Initial impressions were good (especially the heated screen), but over the course of the day both my windscreen wipers worked themselves loose and disappeared into the scenery.

What am I doing wrong - they seem firmly fitted, but there must be a knack/trick to stop the buggers working their way loose with use/vibration?

Is it just the end but with the blade in it, or the whole arm that is coming off? There should be a piece of spring steel holding the wiper onto the splined post.

Its the whole arm that disappeared. I have no springs to keep them on so that will be the problem....does anyone happen to know the part number of the spring?

Caterham have just come back to me to say there is nothing holding the wiper arms on, they are just a push fit - so what am I doing wrong that they both came off?

They're just a push fit but have a clip that hooks under the boss. They really need to be put on in the 'arm up' postion to make sure that they get pushed fully home.
