Hi
I'm trying to find details of any previous owners or the current keeper on Superlight R number 31. The car is a distinctive yellow and wore a road runner decal on its nose for much of its life.

The car was damaged last year and registered as a Cat D. If you know it's whereabouts or the details of any previous owners, do please get in touch. The car had a private reg S7 RUN for a while.

I'll try and upload some images of the car I have.

Many thanks

Many thanks for responding.

Can you connect me to Bob Smith via phone or email please? I bought and paid for the car from a salvage Garrage in November. After three months of tall stories about why it hasn't been delivered, I'm having to involve the police unfortunately. I need to get the original reg of the car if Bob knows it.
Many thanks for your help.
Dave

Did you buy it through ebay or after that? I saw it on copart then on ebay a couple of weeks later.

Hi. I spotted it on eBay then went up and bought it in person before the auction ended.

David, I contacted the seller when it was on ebay, and found something wasn't right, so I gave it a wide birth.
did you get your money back?

I think a degree of caution is needed when making these sort of allegations publicly on line. Having been on the other side of a similar story when selling a vehicle, I know it can often be not so clear cut. In my case, I understood that I had agreed a deal if it failed to sell in the auction. It sold at auction for a better price.

What followed was a legal battle and to cut a long story short, if you haven't taken delivery, or didn't bid in the auction, or it was not stopped, then the evidence may favor the seller. But clearly, if you paid money, you are entitled to that back and you are best to concentrate on that. A payment is not always proof of purchase.

But good luck in your struggle to resolve it, and I hope it works out in the end.

I also saw the car at copart & missed the auction due to work commitments but then watched the sale on e- bay offered the garage a fair figure for the car that would have given the seller a thousand profit..
But anyway if you log onto 7DNA you will find the gent who owned it born to run user name when I spoke to him he had some paperwork on it & also the plate for sale.
PM me I will give you my number to chat it over.
