Facebook taking over Blatchat??
Discussion
If you are a luddite who belives Facebook serves no useful purpose than sexual grooming or messaging between under 16's then ignore this post.
If not you may be pleased to learn that Chris, Christian and I have expanded the foodprint of the Caterham & Lotus 7 Owners Group on FB to include dedicated groups as follows:
Caterham & Lotus 7 Owners Group - TechTalk
Caterham & Lotus 7 Owners Group - Marketplace
Seach using FB search and though shalt find.
They are of course free to use for both reading and posting.

In answer to the title, there's certainly more activity on the FB pages than on BC. Well, unless you're Jonathan Kay that is.
He's been very quiet today. Probably trying to find out if PH has more variable components than BC with a correlation to the input factor of the demographic of the typical FB user. kenny.R400 said:

Not being 16 nor wishing to be groomed, I'll hang back with ludites.
All the luddites left long ago And I'd assume the current Blatchat won't entice them back, especially with its lack of content at present. I'm a member of the Facebook group and great as they are I feel they're not as good as an open to all style forum could be.
To me as a new comer to the whole Facebook thing I find the postings/threads too instant and short lived.
Maybe I/someone needs to start an open free forum for 7 minded people.
Will dedicated forums take over from car clubs?? Probably......

Highly unlikely imo as FB in isn't present form can't offer the same sort of continuity as a dedicated car club can. Both have their place as both fulfil different criteria.Gassing Station | Caterham | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
