Is there a simple way of telling a car is a long cockpit model from the VIN plate?
I'm looking at the car on ebay that needs a rebuild, its an '86 model live axle and the long cockpit came in around then.
Anybody here been to see the car or know of it?

Thanks everyone, the French list has given me the answer I needed, the Lotus & Club wouldn't allow access.
The car is a 1700 LCS
