I called Caterham parts dept today. They confirmed that they will not be getting in any more CR500s as they are now fully committed to the new ZZS. However, whilst they didn't have any of the 175 profile of the old tyre on the shelves, they do have literally a handful of wider profile CR500s still in stock. So if you're not quite ready to switch to the newfangled heavier ZZS just yet, and your car uses wider CR500s, get your order in quick! The 'old' tyres they have on the shelf are only from 2014, which was the last time the compound was updated (nope, I didn't realise the compound was altered over the years either).
