Chaps,

Picked up the R500k at the weekend from Sevens and classics - what an incredible bit of kit, i'm hooked!

The only thing it needs is a clear light kit - both rear light clusters, front indicators and side repeaters on the wings - apparently Caterham have no kits in stock, anyone know of an alternative supplier?

On another note, big thumbs up to Callum and the chaps at Sevens & Classics - they couldn't do enough to help, highly recommend them.

Try the 7Speed/Kit Car Supplies pack here:

http://www.kitcarsupplies.co.uk/collections/lighti...

It doesn't include the Side Repeaters (which are a pain to change if they are the LED versions) however if they are the older side repeaters they do also sell the clear lenses form them as well.

Generally this complete pack is cheaper than buying the parts separately from Caterham but all basically the same parts.

Cheers,
Carl

To go with the 'straight through pipes' too?

But then look at some of the 'carbon tarts' in the club. Used to spend a fortune on anything carbon....

Clear front indicators are off a Defender. Often found cheap on eBay.

I had a set of rears from a bulk buy or similar. Put them on after my rebuild, then the far failed the MOT. Tester said that when the brake lights were applied the light displayed wasn't 100% red. I think the filament shown it's white light through the red coating of the bulb. I guess it was crap bulbs in my case. What bulbs are others using? Is the red red and orange orange enough or is the output best with the original coloured lenses (as currently back on my car)?

I have a spare set of rears, but they are 2 red sections (brakes and reflector) and 1 clear. Rather than 2 clear and a reflector.
