Dear PH, I've got my 7 hire tomorrow, due to family I'm driving it to Surbiton from the Crawley shop. Any ideas of any good drives near that area? I'm meeting family in Surbiton and want to do some circuits, but scared too built up! Any urgent help would be great, Thanks guys.

I used to live just down the road in Kingston and can't think of any, from what I recall the nearest bit of NSL road in that area (other than the A3 or M3) is going to be outside of the M25. Quickest route would be out towards Esher but it is still 30/40 until near enough the M25.

Complete disaster for driving roads around Surbiton. If you are coming from Crawley way as soon as you get inside the M25 you are pretty much doomed. Perhaps you could get some short blats in the roads around East/West Clandon, Ockham, East Horsley, Bookham, Fetcham. Not great though.

At least it's half-term. Otherwise from 3pm the roads are completely chokka.

Probably too late now, but that's a terrible waste of a Caterham Hire frown

You should have got them to come out to Crawley and then done some decent roads around Surrey/Sussex wink

Keep away from the Surrey Hills. It's full of cyclists. I used to go outwards Petworth when I had mine
