Don't do it! Jez Coates described the VXi as the least inspiring 7 they ever made! Big fat dull engine and desperately bad wheels!

On the plus side a vxi is easier to convert to throttle bodies as it's got the injection tank, fuel lines already there-

Not at all, for many reasons...

Arnie's sorely missed megalith was anything but a VXi engine!
It didn't run on HPC wheels!
Arnie is a full k-series convert now!

I'd go for an HPC on Carbs instead. The injected VX was only 165bhp rather than 175bhp on Carbs. The pops, bangs and foot long frames give an HPC it's character!

If it's of interest, my 1992 HPC on carbs is about to be put up for sale. Completely unmolested, standard car - save for the battery being re-located - and with 23,000 odd miles on the clock. British racing green. Just had new oil and air filters, cam belt, plugs and brake fluid done. Will be putting up an advert later this week. - Thompsong

Genuine HPC's have really lept in value. The last two on the market sold for near asking price in 2 days. One was in Cornwall at a dealers and bought by another dealer and one was with clams and had the 225 swindon upgrade. I'd be really interested in another but have just bought a BDR HPC.
