I almost bought a Caterham last year but ended up getting an early
911 (now sold).

Since last year I have got back into bikes. Currently have a BMW S 1000 R. It is heaven. But I bought it against my wife's wishes (I've had accidents including a big one in the past) and she is making life difficult. So wondering whether I should sell and buy a Caterham instead.

Which are the best dealers in the South East? I suppose forum rules don't allow you to name and shame the bad ones.

Thinking of getting a Superlight or R300 (a pity I didn't buy last year as has found an R300 in Orange - my favourite colour).

Sevens and Classics are my go to guys.

They have sold me two Caterhams and any time I have a technical question or need some work done Tim or Andy is more then happy to help.

If your looking for a R300 sort of power they have my old Sigma Superlight 150 for sale. Brilliant first Caterham that's very clean.

Go and talk to Callum but make sure you have your wallet with you, as every time i go in I come out with some thing or a new car!!

I live in London now used to live near Westerham I like you have always had an affinity with sports bikes Current 185 bhp at the wheel 05 R1 with all the fancy Yamaha engine race bits but moved to 4 wheels (Caterham) for my adrenalin rush. (still have the bike). My advice is get something that provides a route to an easy upgrade when you need it, don't get me wrong 150 BHP in a well driven 7 is a formidable force but if you're looking to replace a bike sports bike feeling you're going to need 200+
Do some track day hires get instruction and then decided, you will not regret it.

I also use Sevens & Classics at Brands Hatch; have bought two cars from them this year and the service has been great.

They have my old K-Series R300 Superlight for sale at present (gulf blue/orange) and that is a great car!!

That was a car that stood out when I was browsing caterhams for sale.

I sent them a query last week...and haven't had a response, which is a bit surprising.
