Just fitted a pair of pitking mirrors from demon tweeks.. Fabulous.. I've removed the crappy original door ones.. Took 5 minutes to fit using an adjustable spanner and an ordinary screwdriver.. £40 well spent.. No drilling or tapping.. Just needed some teflon thread tape.. Everything else is supplied..

Those look like a decent product for a reasonable price. Could I ask, did you fit them direct to windscreen frame or a bracket from door hinge so they open with the door?

They replaced the bottom screw on the windscreen frame.. Doors open halfway which is plenty to get in and out.. The are very solid and do not move if clunked by the doors.. Slightly smaller than standard mirrors but no vibration & now you can see stuff behind at all speeds.. You can also adjust the passenger mirror yourself if you remove the door.. Something you cant do with the standard mirrors.. Win-Win ??

They look good. What about access with a roof or half hood on ?

Anybody got aapir of the fitting bolts that go into the windscreen frame? I bought a set of mirrors second hand, but they've come with the larger set of fittings only

Probably because the little ones strip if you try and adjust them more than twice. Horrible cheap fixings.

I got them to replace the door mirrors to remain legal when I take the doors off. I won't be tracking the car.

The tiny threads that replace the windscreen screw are a bit rubbish. You are much better to drill the windscreen stanchion and mount them properly. They are really solid then.
