Hello.
I´m looking for advice about replacing my cracked oil sump (wet one).
I have Roadsport 2.0 Duratec HE, no upgrades on the engine.
I hit and cracked a wet oil sump on a bumpy road and it´s not reparable.

Problem is i´m little short of money right now.

First option is to buy just a pan but I think cca £400 on caterham store is pretty much.
Second option is to buy dry sump conversion kit. I have no response from Raceline if their kit for about £900 (ex VAT) is complete with hoses, oil tank ...

Can you recommend me some good stuff or even second hand one? (both wet and dry sump).

Thank you very much and please excuse my imperfect English.

If money is a consideration, then a dry sump will also need a tank, fittings, and hoses. That may double the price and will also require more work to install (ideally engine out). Replacement wet sump is the easiest solution and they do come up on ebay from time to time, but often not much cheaper than new. I'd buy a new wet sump.
