related to my other post about winter driving, and I know it sounds faintly ridiculous, but has anyone tried the eBay heated seat pads in their Caterham? In my previous open top cars winter motoring has been made more pleasant by having heated seats on at nuclear level to reduce chill.....
It's not your backside that gets cold in winter Sevening -it's hands ,upper arms neck and head . Some aeroscreen jock will tell me I am a wuss in a minute , haven't lived unless I've driven a Seven in shorts in a blizzard. Then another will say 'Shorts, bloody shorts? Luxury , when I drove between ....'(continues on p57 )

Backside does get cold if you have Tilletts, the wind whistles down between seat and rear bulkhead and under the seat forward.I have a cushion shoved down between seat and rear bulkhead to block the draught!
