related to my other post about winter driving, and I know it sounds faintly ridiculous, but has anyone tried the eBay heated seat pads in their Caterham? In my previous open top cars winter motoring has been made more pleasant by having heated seats on at nuclear level to reduce chill.....

I've always found the heater combined with the heat from the engine quite enough to warm my lower half when out on a cold day! I've never liked the look of those heater pads.

I haven't seen these ones but I bought some from America via eBay about 10 years ago,
I had to take the seat covers off my seats in my Quattro but they were easy to do and they worked perfectly.,

Backside does get cold if you have Tilletts, the wind whistles down between seat and rear bulkhead and under the seat forward.
I have a cushion shoved down between seat and rear bulkhead to block the draught!
