They all had stack dashes (one bit of mine that I haven't changed!) ..and LSD's
I left the speaker holes in the back bulkhead because it's handy for getting stuff out of the boot :-)

Does it still have shed door coach bolts holding the bonnet springy catch things on? wink

I thought the shed door coach bolts had been upgraded to some top quality shed door rivets in recent years?

Some of my 7 had some top quality self tappers, occasionally bodged with wood screws. Having seen some of the factory "engineering" I don't think that's the worst sin out there.

I think they could do better, considering what they are charging for them.
Something like this for instance?

No idea, but don't you think it would look good if all the brightwork were brass plated? biggrin

I think it would look like a tart's windowbox, but since the thing does anyway and this is the appeal for the intended customer, then I think that you are right and that they are missing a trick.

A Caterham 7 is a bloody awful vehicle to punt around London. You cook your feet, it's badly ventilated apart from the obvious, and on wet days it's a horror.

Which seems to be the USP for this particular model so I hope that they sell dozens to the oil barons' sons who come to London for the summer and need something to drive between "exclusive" bars with "hostess" service.

Yes they are and no they didn't. And I think this chap is just pointing out how he's modified his anniversary.
Fair point!

I don't even recall them having a stack dash either, but that's mostly because I can't remember things from last year let along 10 years ago!
Most 7's are unique its hard to find two the same and if you look down these pictures http://www.mycaterham.com/129616/56787.html you will see a black seven with Gold plated lights window frame etc

Customers have always been able to customise their cars or is this going to be a cost option now under a 'signature' option.. I don't think I would buy a Harrods version but then again if thats what Caterham want to do and makes them more sales why not...
