Mine was an ex-drift car, one of the Autosport cars to be exact.

Had it 4 years and it's been brilliant. It was on 11k when I bought it, and the previous owner (who bought it from Caterham) had it from 6k. I'm now around 20k, sadly I've not used it as much the past year, but I hope to change that this year.

Cosmetically it was a bit rough to begin with, the seats needed a touch up, the harnesses were well worn and the seat runners needed replacing, but having restored the seats (with liquid leather) and replaced the harnesses and runners you'd have no idea. The steering wheel is a bit shiny so I am on the lookout for a replacement.

I did need to replace the immobiliser and remove a dashboard mounted kill-switch (which I replaced with a 12v port) as it had been re-wired to not need it!

The only problem I did have was the car would knock out of reverse occasionally, since replacing the plastic guide under the gear stick it's been brilliant though.

My only complaint is it's black and I wanted a brighter colour (I've added red stripes). A re-spray is on my list of things I'd like to do eventually!

I've spotted that Simon Rogers (of Meteor Motorsport) is working on an Ecoboost 1.6 conversion for Sigma cars, so I'm watching that with a lot of interest! I love the spec of the car but as I'm now using it less on the road and more on the track, the thought of more power is quite appealing!
