An update...
I have now got around to fitting the new Toyo R888R tyres on Eugene...

2x 185/60r13 for the front - 2x 205/60r13 for the rear - both on the same 6" rims.

I have to say they are very, very impressive!
Compliant, and not at all harsh compared to the 021Rs, but very, very grippy in the warm weather we have today.

And they look great too - the 205/60r13s in the rear do not at all look 'balloony'.

See: http://www.7-dna.com/forums/index.php?action=vthre... form more piccys, etc...

Just another quick comment to reiterate just how much I'm loving the R888R tyres - bloody impressive!
The roadholding is amazing, even less than ideal conditions, and the level of feedback superb.
(Although I've yet to try in monsoon conditions)
And I love the look too biggrin

Have spent more time blatting the local roads with the new R888R tyres... and wow, are they good! The turn-in is so much 'crisper' have actually had to modify my driving style, as I found myself oversteering... that is some change, and a real surprise as I thought the 021Rs I was using previously were good too!
