K series 6 speed caterham Gearbox splines

Hi all,

I'm after a new clutch for my Caterham. 1.6 Kseries with the Caterham 6 speed box.

The suppliers are asking how many splines and what the diameter of the gearbox input shaft is?

Does any know this information?

Caterham are out of stock of the clutch kit im after.

It's normally a 1 inch 23 spline.

Pretty sure Caterham have stock of the plate, and you'd be unlucky to need a cover.

I'm pretty sure I need the cover plate aswell. Think it isn't disengaging the drive. Peering in through the clutch cable gaitor you can see the diaphagm springs are a bit rusty and it makes a pretty horrible noise operating the clutch without the engine running.

I got recommended to Mardi Gras Motorsport by a friend of mine. They had a cluch kit in stock and got it UPSed to me overnight. Just got to find the time to get the engine out now!!! humph!

I got in touch with Redline. (they happen to be just down the road from me.... result)

Really really helpful people.

I also needed a spigot bearing aswell as a clutch. I bought a bearing from them and they even lent me a tool to remove it.. Legends.

Will be contacting them in the future for any other bits I may need!
