Does anyone know if the csr front wings, with the squared off section would fit over 13" wheels, or would you reckon they will be too large.

I fitted CSR wings on my last 7, the radius is designed for 15" wheels but look fine with 13", TBH the rolling radius is not much different
You could try Seven Tweeks, I know they were producing wings and stays for 13" rims.
The stays were the problem as the CSR stays don't fit standard cars.

The race CSR's run on 13" wheels and their wings fit very neatly. Don't know if road/race CSR's have different fibreglass but it would seem odds on that they have different wingstays.

sam919: Look at my profile picture for 13" wheels and CSR front wings. The diameter of these front tyres is similar to 185/60 R13 road tyres.

Thanks for the input lads. I managed to "roll" the wings stays around for the normal type wings by drilling a hole in the back of the flat part of the stay and moving the ball joint/ stay around to that part. This was in an effort to stop the wing being so proud above the tyre.

The conclusion was to fit the csr ones!.

Im trying to get around to this over the winter before next season, so fingers crossed will have it done.

Here is a link to pictures of my blackbird with carbon csr wings:

Tis a small world as it is Martins old car but now mine I am pleased to say.

Personally I think 185 60's look a bit small and keep meaning to try some 205's on the front to see what they look like.

Looking good. I will have something like 215s on the front and 235 on the back.

Also i might have to run slicks but not sure yet, they will probably be around the same width.

I am also wondering about the roll cage aero mod. I have a set of black plastic inserts but i think the csr being a wider chassis must have a wider roll cage, so they'll have to be trimmed a little

yeh looks good, nice fit. I was using FF rears for the fronts which i think were 215's. Are you still using ACB's as i have a couple of 235-45-13's, only used twice , that need a good home.

are they hard compound ones? the supersofts are pretty much shot after 2 trackdays! I'm running soft at the moment for trackdays - nearly all the dry grip of slicks plus not so hopeless in the likely event of rain falling.

No the ss are to soft for circuit racing we found, turn to jelly, they are of medium compound and have plenty of life left. Heat cycle wise they have had two races, two quals and one short test but for a few laps and nothing to really bring the heat into them.
