I too urge you to consider a 1600ss. I have an 87 vintage 1600 Xflow bored out to 1700. The last owner told me it pulls 135 bhp (yeah like I believed him), however it is pure driving pleasure with fearsome exceleration and I have not had so much fun since I first got laid!
