Glad you and your son are OK. It's one of the (many) reasons I sold V7 in the end - I was just too scared to use it with my son onboard and I wanted a car I'd feel more comfortable transporting him in (that turned out to be a Cerbera which just didn't work out either).
I think I will return to Caterham ownership in the next couple of years but I still haven't resolved my feelings towards having my son in the car with me. There's not a lot of impact absorption in a Se7en and although I have had a few dings in V7 which all ended OK, the one I fear most is being T-boned by another car.
FWIW, I liked the zip paintjob although first impressions were that it was one of those South African flags you see on some cars.
Would be good if you could engineer some reliability into the car such that you were seen out and about a bit more in it.
