I rarely look at my fuel pressure reading as it rarely shows anything other than 51 (psi I'm pretty certain).

However today I got stuck in traffic in quite hot ambients, and noticed the fuel pressure reading was up above 80psi.

Once I got moving again, it dropped back to the usual figure. But seemed bizarre nonetheless.

IIRC, low fuel pressure is a "worse" problem and the main reason for having the reading. But it still made me wonder whether I should be checking anything key (apart from the sender - tbh, the reading was "stable" in its rise and fall).

Complete guess, but perhaps a blocked return pipe if you have one?
