Using a scissor jack to put the car on axle stands?

Is it ok to use a scissor jack to put the front of a Seven on axle stands?

I wouldn't. You probably can, but it's not nice. Buy or borrow a proper jack. Be safe. Don't bend the car.

Yes, but be carefull. There's not a jacking point as such so a scissor jack can slide on whatever bit of metal you choose to use (wishbone probably best)

Why not get a cheap trolley jack, they're only about a tenner and much more suitable
