Manta, have you got a part number, I'm not convinced we're all talking about the same thing

I bought a hur2003k kit hub upgrade pack superlight R400 race , direct from Caterham , the only problem was i had the hubs machined down 3 mm to clear the bigger wilwood discs on the track rod ends .

These are the same as mine, they are taper roller bearings but tend to be held together by the retainer/seal when new. Mine fell apart at the first service.

We are talking about the same thing, I was concerned when you said they weren't taper rollers, although I couldn't see another option.
