Hi Stuart (and everyone else)

I've done lots of searches and tried to speak to freestyle but I'm still not sure if my new to me slr is set up for radials or crossplys probably crsoos or acb10's. Blatchat has no answers so I'm asking the oracle direct.

The set up sheet which I think is from freestyle says fronts L 1.0 degree and R 1.25 degree and rears L 0.75 degree and R 0.5 degree with tracking at 0.5 out at the front and 0.75 in at the rear.

The car drove very well (in the atrocious conditions) at a very cold and wet cadwell and on the road on Monday with lightly treaded cr500s but the above look more like an acb 10 settings to me but what do you think.

If this is a radial setting I am minded to try these new avon zzr but how are they working out? Are they nice and low weight like the cr500s or heavier like the r888s?

Thanks

Will

I'll be in the office tomorrow Will - give me a call. That's a crossply setup though.

CR500's are very compliant to a fair bit of camber or not much at all.
I ran -0.25 deg on the rears and pretty much 0 on the fronts on slicks and it ran fine on the road and odd trackday with CR500's.
For Yoko's / normal radials you would want about -1.5 deg rear and same front or even up to -2 to taste.
The settings you have are somewhere in between a slicks / ACB10 setting and radial setting - compromise perhaps?
