The seven when on 13 was intended deep side wall tyres not the modern trend of low profiles.
As long as you have the right suspension set up then there are significant benefits of bigger wheels such as less side wall distortion. Weight is an issue but these force racing split rims are only 4kg. So are light. In 15" there is a pretty good choice of tyres including the cr500 if you want them.
Anyway back to pictures people, let's see some more!

Only problem is you could do with having matching spare...?As long as you have the right suspension set up then there are significant benefits of bigger wheels such as less side wall distortion. Agree, 13" not low profiles is the way.As long as you have the right suspension set up then there are significant benefits of bigger wheels such as less side wall distortion. Low profile tyres as you say have far stiffer sidewalls, hence not suited to very light cars such as seven.

So not the best background but thought since I had a couple of recent shots I would post them up.
Now sorted proper wheel centre caps front and rear which looks better than these.
Bit different from most but I like it
Yep, I have to say these wheels look fantastic. Remind me very much of the Fredy Kumschick S7 Competition R Sevens which always looked pretty butch. Now sorted proper wheel centre caps front and rear which looks better than these.

Interesting you went 15s, and not 16s as I thought you were originally intending, but these fill the arches very nicely, they look bigger than my Prisoners (which are 15s) but I guess that might be because of the deep dish.
I like the treatment of the polished rims and grey spokes, work very nicely. Given I already have 13" mag MB wheels, I won't be looking at these as an option...but if I didn't...I would've.
Actually, just to say, in general the car looks terrific. Lovely colour scheme.
Cheers

A decent collection after this year's Classic Le Mans - The Long Way Up!

Fantastic looking rims on the car, I looked at Force racing wheels a few weeks ago but I was thinking 13" with grey centre's to change from my 15" Caterham wheels on my R400 in the same design...............15's look much better though! Now sorted proper wheel centre caps front and rear which looks better than these.

I would definitely go with Force a Racing. They are stunning wheels and if I do say so I think a set of 15's with grey centres would look great on your car. If you don't want to increase in width at the rear play with the offset a little to get that deep dish fill the arches look.Of course black centres would look good to and you can have anodised rims it you wish.
