Has anybody hung an after-market pedalbox from the metal scuttle? Obviously you'd lose a bit or originality but you'd end up with a better pedal ratio and twin-circuit brakes...

Hi Paul

Thanks for that, but it's the frame that I need. I have the side supports and my local glazier cuts laminated glass to a template for me - he did my Marlin Roadster screen for just £33 earlier this year.

I'm looking forward to starting the project, but I don't know when that'll be, probably the spring as I don't have a garage!

Regards, Mick

I am starting to think that the best option might be re-locating the bar that is in the way to accomodate a normal dual MC like you had in the picture. I could still maintain all of the triangulation in that area. Would be a very straightforward pipe fitting and tig weld.

For export to countries where a dual brake system was required, there was a Lotus solution which is shown in the owners manual. I have seen a similar item on a Lotus Europa.

and here "live"

Hi Mal, - it´s always great to see a S4 - either in a developed state or still original (after 40 years)...
It would be interesting to find out the "brand" of the calipers used in this example - some idea?

The ultimate idea to have a "2 way" brake circuit - and finally how to manage in a S4:

(well known UK racer)

A piece of history! Nice you have pictures of it from the factory.
The revolutions realy will be a big improvement over those lattice type wheels.
By the way, that grass needs some weed'n'feed....

Bruce Wayne welcome, it is indeed The Batman; very nice car indeed.

Notice the Mini in the background (garage); whats the spec on that.

Pistonheads - need for speed

your place - need for weed&feed
