Well done. I suspect you very proud of what you have achieved and quite rightly so. What's next on the agenda? wink

Thanks very much smile

Yes they are MB Aluminium alloys not magnesium alloys. They weigh a tad more but don't need crack testing.

Jason
Didnt realise he did alloy centers, could I sstraight wap these for my mag centers? how much are they if you dont mind me asking?

Thanks for that sounds like I'll not get any then as I doubt he'll make me a set.... I think I'll sell the MB mag wheels and buy some narrower rims for my image wheels so I can use my current CR500's. To be honest there is not a lot of difference in weight between the two plus the fit and forget nature of the all ali is good for me.

You could have a look at 7Tips. Simon showed me their new wheels at Autosport International. CNC aluminium centres and stunningly light overall.

Yes the colour needs the sun. I did try and capture it with my 60 quid camera but failed..

The outer light blocks are from carbon mods and to be honest these are not wonderful but I believe are the best available today. The fog and reverse are Rif's and I think are better than anything available today.

Jason
Thanks Jason. I see RiF/Carbon Bits have been taken over by some Guys calling themselves "666 Road racing ltd." Is that correct?
Am I also right in thinking they are still using Richard's old web site, and it's still possible to order stuff through that?
If so, they have light blocks, and reverse/fog light covers available on that site.
Do you, or anyone know what thier stuff is like, and what they are like to deal with?

Cheers,
Mick.

Carbon Bits is now being run by the same guy, Nick Potts. Great guy to do business with and they dont mind doing one off stuff as well as all the usual
You can get Nick on 01606 591700, tell him i sent you and you might get a bit of discount

mickrick - A recent thread on BC indicates that most customers feel the new owners of Carbon-Bits are following Richard's established customer service model. I have not yet done business with the new owners personally, but I was a happy customer of RiF.

What happened to this thread? I read this as it was getting written but was coming back to read it again for some reference... but all the photos and Jason's posts are gone?

Glad it was not just me who thought that too.

Perhaps Jason changed his car and pulled his user I'd, and all his thread response's went too!

Guys.
I am the owner of this 7 now, Jason went on to another project in 2012.
This project followed on from the 7 i bought, same idea but more power.

I have run this 7 for six months and no major problems, it still runs like a dream and is all the 7 you could wish for. clap
