I can assure you that the event will not be cancelled, ticket sales are going well and they can be bought from http://www.btaptickets.com/

To paraphrase Douglas Adams - as soon as it was announced that the event would not be cancelled, it became virtually certain to be cancelled.eybic said:

It seems mean to laugh at this event's demise, but it's all that can be expected since Haymarket took PH in the direction it has.
Let it go gracefully, and invest in the newer events that bring in the new folk. Sunday services seem to have been a big hit.

I think the lack of logos has a lot to do with it...
It certainly has been much quieter (and I would include lack of logos in there) but to not sell enough tickets twice to run the event rather makes me think that the world has just moved on and BTaP has had its day.James P said:

This^^^^ do PHers WANT Black Tie events these days?
Evidently NOT.

The 2013 one was poorly promoted. This one was clearly within a 6 month window - so probably a grace period on the hotel's part. Evidently NOT.

No, we do but we need it to be organised properly!
5 weeks notice is no good, even if we do know the date 11 months before
April is no good, we've planned stuff for Easter & have November blocked out for it
Had it been re-booked for 1st Novber it would have been the success it always is
