My car prep. for today....

Work until 10a.m....drive home v. fast...jump into sister's car for drive to rail station....get on train to Harrogate....run through Harrogate town centre to TVR showroom...pick up Tamora which has hopefully had it's cooling fan relay fixed to prevent car expiring in a cloud of steam like it did on Thursday afternoon ....drive home at ramming speed....chuck bags in boot, wait for fiancee, drive to BTaP....then follow ErnestM's routine

Off out to wipe a grimy rag over the beast now...

Then iron the old wing collar

Then depress the pedal on the right to the general vicinity of the carpet...

step one. check fluid levels - yep, I'm legal

step two. rip hole in roof lining so hanger can swing gently rep-stylee instead of being crushed underneath the harnesses on the back seat

step three. cd in

step four. achieve maximum velocity in as short a time as possible while changing at 3.5k until the engine warms through

ps step five is rag tits off trying to keep up with a cruising T350C

S is filthy and it's staying that way... drizzling over here, so no point in washing the damn thing.. it'll be filthy by BTaP anyway..

Will still check oil, water, tyres etc though... some of us have to try and keep pace with Griffy!
