Combo 1.3 CDTI Problems!

For the record my 1.3 cdti was going in to limp mode at 3000 rpm (Spanner light comes on).
After taking a jam jar of soot out of the inlet manifold, egr, sensor changes, diagnostic code checking etc and other general fiddling I found it was the Turbo wastegate just jammed.
One long screwdriver from underneath and good hard shove to get it moving again.
