Hi, I have brought a 1.8, 51 plate corsa C that does not run "Stupid I know" it starts runs for a few minutes then dies and will not re/start for about 20 mins or so, its had a new crank sensor,coil pack and a reconditioned/repaired ECU also when it has been starting ive disconnected the cam sensor and it still starts so I belive I can rule that out also I removed dash insert and wiggled the connection on the back this made no diffrence at all any suggestions has anyone seen this before can you help

have you looked to see if its showing any fault codes?

It has various codes stored U2108-P1615-P1616 I checked your link but what direction would you go from them codes

U2108 CAN-BUS no Communication with ABS/TC B-08
P1615 Wrong Vehicle ID from Body Control Module C-40
P1616 Wrong Vehicle ID from Instrument Control Module C-40

First one have a look at the sensors on the front wheels.
Last 2 sound like it's had an engine swap ?

Sounds more like it has something to do with the "reconditioned" ecu.

Grasping at straws, the fact it runs a bit, cuts out then won't restart kinda hints at heat having something to do with it.

Do you get a mil light? (without unplugging the cam sensor )
