Anyone know how to obtain NOx details from Vauxhall to establish is car is Ulez compliant without risking £175 for a Certificate of Conformity which might show no data or not complient anyway. Vehicle is a year 2000 Astra 1.6 8V. Would hate to scrap it if it is actually compliant.

Welcome.

Can't help with an actual figure, but does it have an EGR? It's not unreasonable to assume it won't pass without one.

I happen to know the answer to this ..

Yes, they were built with an EGR. However, due to unreliability of those EGRs there was a Vauxhall field modification to blank off the EGR at customers request. So, Vauxhall would say "yes, there is an EGR", but it might not actually have a working EGR.

That will just show that it is not compliant because being before 2006 there was no NOx emissions figure recorded on the V5c, doesn't mean that it isn't technically complient, just that TFL don't have data for it so therefore assume it is non-compliant.

TFL ULEZ checker for my 2001 petrol car says it's nice and compliant. CO2 is high at 288 g/km, but Khan not interested in that !

After writing to Vauxhall I now have the emissions results but don't know what to make of them:
CO: 0.553 g/km
HC: 0.000 g/km
NOx: 0.000 g/km
HC + NOx: 0.150 g/km
Partuculates: 0.000 g/km
