Damaged VXT - should i?

Hi everyone,
I was in the local Vauxhall dealership the other day, asking about VX220's, and was told that they're due to get in a Turbo, 55 reg, 6k miles, that has been accident damaged, and repaired to the cost of £13k (the guy that owns it is trading against an Astra VXR cos he can't afford to insure it any more).
Anyway, the salesman thinks it will be on the forecourt for £14k. This seemed exceptionally cheap to me, especially as the car will have 18 months warranty left on it. By some bizarre miracle, my fiancee actually seems to like the look of it too.
The only concern i have, is, if i buy it, am i going to struggle to get rid of it in say 2 years time? The fact that its been fully repaired, new clams etc, doesn't put me off buying it, but will other people think the same as me?
Should i save my money and get an older vx220 2.2 instead?

Has the car been registered as an insurance write-off? This would greatly sway my decision (and many others, I would suspect??) If the car has not been registered it would sem like a bargain - as long as you can live with the fact that you know it has had some light damage earlier in its life.....

It's quite young, but 14k is(was) early turbo money - if you don't mind 20k or so on the clock. Prices may have gone up since the winter when I sold mine however.
Personally I'd be wary of a Cat C or D car. Vx's are different to most cars due to the aluminium chassis and GRP panels. They are unconventional and that will put anyone off a repaired one, regardless of any merit to the fact.
