Wanted S197 Stang Good looks over power

Looking for something that has an agressive look & stance...looks over power, (them days are behind me )
Grey, black, maybe Blue or silver in that preference...not looked into buying a standard & kitting it out with a bodykit/wheels/exhaust etc really have not got the time & effort..so would prefer one thats been done budget upto 18k for right car...
Miles below 50k...age not as important as condition...

The one on spot on...ticks all the boxes execpt the colour although one of the nicest reds i've seen...sadly Ithe one & only red car I've driven was a Ferrari (on hire) I even then I still thought....its red....

No think you've missed my point on my earlier posts...I had a V8 Capri & now i'm hooked on that sound...V8 is the only way for me...perhaps what I mean is Super charger etc, etc...not too bothered about that stuff....PS I would have yours if it was manaul & without red seats...its seems a good buy...shame your gonna sell to a dealer at 12k?...it is too good for that...Kangaman said:

Ahh ok I follow now, fair enough.I wouldn't get too hung up on the AT/MT thing if you just want to cruise around in it the auto will be better, want to take it on a circuit go for the manual, drag racing - the auto is the only way to go.

Funily enough I agree with you about red Ferraris. I have seen a black GT CS and that looked really good with the Matt black stripe on gloss black paint. I think I would have gone for that colour if I wasn't buying it in Texas which gets very hot and I was warned not to buy black. Something else to think about -- possibly -- You might want to consider what rear axle ration the car has. I haven't tried the different ratios you can get when the car is ordered new so don't know how much difference it makes but you might think it would make a difference.

When I bought my V6 it was 5k cheaper than a V8 of the same year and the spec was the same as the V8 (except engine obviously), same size brakes, 18inch wheels, leather, dash upgrade etc, twin exhaust etc I couldn't justify, and still can't, the difference. Mpg (on dash readout) somewhere between 8 and 32 mpg. Yours must have already been modified then as the brakes should be smaller and should have a single pipe. Obviously with mods already done, the differences are more acute. Mine averages 24 US though and that's nothing longer than a 40 mile round trip and general commuting and I've seen 35 on a run too but £5k is £5k.Gassing Station | Mustangs | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
