Camaro Insurance

Well my 2012 Camaro ZL1 has just arrived in the UK (OK so not a Mustang, but hopefully you can still help!), the next step following IVA conversion is to get insurance sorted out. I so far have only phoned Adrian Flux and was surprised/disappointed as 'specialists' they only came back with one option, which seems pretty expensive.

Wondered if anyone out there with a new'ish US import can recommend any insurers?

I use Stevenage Insurance Services for my Hennessey Camaro. <£500.

I use Classicline for my supercharged Mustang though it is limited mileage.

Surprisingly my Camaro is one of the cars on the Admiral multi-car policy. Cost £275ish FC with business use.

thanks for the replies, went through Classicline in the end. About half the cost of Adrian Flux. Unfortunatley Admiral/Elephant were unable to give me a quote, as the ZL1 was not even on their system.

Be Wiser - was £250 cheaper than Adrian Flux. For some reason Admiral wouldn't insure mine. I was a little dubious when the operator at Admiral asked me to spell "Mustang".

A long time ago, in the 90s, I tried to insure a Corvette and the girl asked if it was a Vauxhall Chevette... he he he.

Surprisingly, I got insurance for my Corvette C5 Z06 through Norwich Union Direct for around £400 unlimited. had a shock when I came to insure a modified Mustang. They don't like modified.
